About Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate AP Microeconomics Teacher to join our high-performing faculty and deliver the Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum to motivated high school students. This role is ideal for an educator with deep subject knowledge, a dynamic teaching style, and a strong commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
As the AP Microeconomics teacher, you will be responsible for preparing students for the AP examination while fostering critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and real-world application of economic principles. You will guide students through core microeconomic concepts including supply and demand, market structures, consumer choice, production and cost theory, and government intervention.
This position plays a vital role in shaping learners’ understanding of how economies function at the individual and firm level and helping them apply economic thinking to local and global issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field.
A valid teaching license or certification.
Experience teaching AP Microeconomics, preferably in an international or American curriculum school.
A strong commitment to fostering academic excellence and student engagement.
