About Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join our academic team at a highly regarded UK curriculum school, starting in January 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching science across key stages, with a passion for inspiring curiosity and a deep understanding of the UK National Curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, across various key stages (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
Foster a passion for science through practical experiments, inquiry-based learning, and theoretical instruction.
Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to help students achieve their academic goals.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level science examinations, ensuring they meet or exceed curriculum standards.
Collaborate with other teachers and departments to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
Stay updated on developments in science education and integrate new teaching methodologies into the classroom.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities to foster a strong school community
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
Teaching qualification, such as PGCE or equivalent, ideally aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
Experience teaching science within the UK curriculum, ideally across multiple key stages.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to explore and excel in science.
Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse abilities.
