About Your Role

As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students’ problem-solving abilities and mathematical reasoning. You will teach a range of topics, from algebra to calculus, ensuring that students gain a strong foundation in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities
Teach mathematics to secondary students using engaging and innovative methods
Plan and deliver lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities
Foster students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and exams
Provide regular feedback to students and parents to track progress
Incorporate real-world applications of mathematics into lessons
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the curriculum

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills
Passion for helping students excel in mathematics and develop a love for the subject
