Some schools may also require or prefer specific international teaching certifications.

  3. Experience: Prior teaching experience in ICT or related subjects is often required. Experience in an international or multicultural setting can be an advantage.

  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in a wide range of software applications, programming languages, and IT systems is essential. Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital resources is also important.

  5. Curriculum Development: Experience in developing and delivering ICT curriculum and lesson plans that align with international educational standards and meet the needs of diverse student populations.

Salary Package & Benefits

A typical salary package for a ICT Teacher:
 

  1. Monthly Salary: Typically ranges from 9,000 to 16,000 AED ($2,500 to $5,000 USD). In higher-paying countries or prestigious institutions, salaries can exceed this range, particularly for teachers with extensive experience and qualifications.

  2. Housing/Housing Allowance: Many schools provide a housing allowance or offer fully furnished accommodation. The value of this benefit can vary significantly depending on the location and the cost of living in that area.

  3. Visa: Working visa and residency visa provided for the teacher,  Sometimes this is extended for the spouse and children.

  4. Flight Allowance: Schools may provide annual or biennial return flights to the teacher’s home country as part of the compensation package.

  5. Health Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance coverage is often included, sometimes extending to family members.

  6. Annual Leave: Paid annual leave of approximately 30 days, in addition to national and religious holidays observed in the region.

  7. Airfare: Annual round-trip airfare to the teacher’s home country, often including coverage for family members, as part of the relocation benefits.

  8. End-of-Service Gratuity: A lump sum payment at the end of the contract term, calculated based on the length of service, in accordance with local labour laws.

  9. Professional Development: Funding and opportunities for attending workshops, conferences, and other professional development activities relevant to physics education.

  10. Relocation Assistance: A one-time relocation allowance may be provided to cover moving expenses to the new location.

  11. Contract Duration: Contracts generally,  span 1-2 years, with potential for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

  12. Work Hours: Standard school hours 8am to 3pm, with additional time expected for lesson planning, grading, and extracurricular involvement.
