Typical requirements to apply as a Nursery Teacher:

  1. Educational Qualification: Cache L3, ECE, Diploma in Early Childhood or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

  2. Teaching Certification: Relevant teaching license or certification for early childhood education, depending on regional requirements

  3. Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early childhood setting is preferred.

  4. First Aid Certification: Up-to-date paediatric first aid and CPR certification is often required.

  5. Knowledge of Child Development: Understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate teaching practices.

  6. Classroom Management Skills: Ability to create a structured, engaging, and safe learning environment.

  7. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

  8. Organisational Skills: Ability to plan and implement lesson plans, manage classroom materials, and maintain records.

  9. Patience and Empathy: Demonstrated patience and empathy when working with young children and addressing their needs.

  10. Background Check: Must pass a background check or equivalent screening, as required by the employer.

Salary Package & Benefits

A typical salary package for a Nursery Teacher:

  1. Base Salary: Ranges from 6000 AED to 10,000 AED TAX FREE per month ($1900 - $2800 USD) , depending on location, experience, and qualifications.

  2. Housing:  1 bedroom (if the salary is lower) or no housing if the salary is closer to 10,000 AED per month

  3. Visa: Work visa and residency cover  

  4. Health Insurance: Often provided, covering medical, dental, and sometimes vision care.
