Requirements to Apply
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement Global Perspectives lesson plans and educational content that focus on understanding global issues, intercultural understanding, and international relations.
Instruction: Teach students about global challenges, sustainable development goals, geopolitical issues, and international perspectives.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment conducive to critical thinking and debate.
Research and Analysis: Guide students in conducting research, analyzing global data, and presenting findings.
Debate and Discussion: Facilitate discussions and debates on global topics, encouraging students to form informed opinions.
Project-Based Learning: Engage students in projects that promote global citizenship and social responsibility.
Assessment and Evaluation: Assess students' understanding through exams, essays, projects, and presentations.
Field Trips and Exchanges: Organize or participate in international field trips, exchange programs, or Model United Nations conferences.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, schools, and organizations to enhance global education initiatives.
Parent Communication: Communicate students' progress
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, International Relations, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred for higher-level teaching positions.
Certification: Valid teaching certification or licensure specific to the region or country of employment.
Experience: Previous experience teaching Global Perspectives or related subjects at various educational levels and settings is preferred.
Global Knowledge: Strong knowledge of global issues, geopolitics, sustainable development goals, and international relations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are often an asset.
Technology Skills: Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance Global Perspectives instruction.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and engage with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Passion for Global Education: A passion for global education and a commitment to fostering global citizenship among students.
Salary Package
Average Salary: The average salary for a Global Perspectives Teacher in the UAE is approximately 12,000 AED per month.
Experienced Salary: Global Perspectives Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 15,000 to 18,000 AED per month.
High Salary: Highly experienced Global Perspectives Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 20,000 AED per month.
