Requirements to Apply
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement Islamic Studies lesson plans and educational content that align with curriculum standards.
Instruction: Teach students about Islamic beliefs, practices, history, and culture, emphasizing understanding and respect for diversity.
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Use of Religious Texts: Utilize Quranic texts, Hadith, and other Islamic sources to enhance students' understanding.
Interactive Learning: Engage students through discussions, debates, and projects related to Islamic teachings and values.
Assessment and Evaluation: Assess students' understanding through exams, essays, projects, and assignments.
Field Trips and Projects: Organize and lead Islamic educational trips and projects to provide practical learning experiences.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other Islamic Studies teachers, faculty members, and educational professionals.
Parent Communication: Communicate students' progress and achievements to parents, and engage them in their children's Islamic education.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred for higher-level teaching positions.
Certification: Valid teaching certification or licensure specific to the region or country of employment.
Experience: Previous experience teaching Islamic Studies at various educational levels and settings is preferred.
Islamic Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Islamic teachings, Quranic studies, Hadith, and Islamic history and culture.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
Technology Skills: Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance Islamic Studies instruction.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Passion for Islamic Education: A passion for Islamic education and a commitment to fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles and values.
Salary Package
Average Salary: The average salary for an Islamic Studies Teacher in the UAE is approximately 12,000 AED per month.
Experienced Salary: Islamic Studies Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 15,000 to 18,000 AED per month.
High Salary: Highly experienced Islamic Studies Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 20,000 AED per month.
