Requirements to Apply

  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Italian language curriculum for different educational levels, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

  • Instruction: Teach students about Italian grammar, vocabulary, literature, and cultural aspects related to Italy.

  • Language Proficiency: Assess students' language proficiency levels and tailor lessons accordingly to support their learning needs.

  • Cultural Awareness: Promote cultural understanding and appreciation of Italian traditions, customs, and heritage.

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess students' progress through exams, quizzes, essays, and oral presentations in Italian.

  • Parent and Community Engagement: Collaborate with parents, community members, and local organizations to support students' Italian language learning and cultural enrichment.

  • Professional Development: Stay updated with current trends and developments in Italian language teaching and pedagogy through ongoing professional development.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Italian Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. A master’s degree may be preferred.

  • Certification: Valid teaching certification or licensure specific to Italian language teaching or general education depending on the region or country of employment.

  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Italian language or related subjects at various educational levels and settings is preferred.

  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in Italian, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English may also be required.

  • Teaching Skills: Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and utilize educational technology to enhance Italian language instruction.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

Salary Package

  • Average Salary: The average salary for an Italian Teacher in the UAE is approximately 12,000 AED per month.

  • Experienced Salary: Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 15,000 to 18,000 AED per month.

  • High Salary: Highly experienced Italian Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 20,000 AED per month.
