Roles and Responsibilities

Requirements to Apply

  • Child Development: Foster the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of young children through play-based learning activities.

  • Curriculum Implementation: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs based on the nursery's curriculum and guidelines.

  • Safety and Well-being: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times, including monitoring activities and providing first aid when necessary.

  • Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and development.

  • Classroom Management: Manage the nursery classroom effectively, including organizing learning materials and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nursery staff and administrators to support the overall operation of the nursery.

  • Continuous Learning: Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and development milestones.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. A relevant diploma may be accepted.

  • Certification: Valid certification in Early Childhood Education or Teaching is preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early childhood setting is beneficial.

  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a nurturing personality.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of child development theories and early childhood education best practices.

  • First Aid Certification: Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is often required, and knowledge of Arabic or another language may be advantageous.

Salary Package

  • Average Salary: The average salary for a Nursery Teacher in the UAE is approximately 8,000 AED per month.

  • Experienced Salary: Experienced Nursery Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 10,000 to 12,000 AED per month.

  • High Salary: Highly experienced and qualified Nursery Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 15,000 AED per month.
