Requirements to Apply
Curriculum Development:Â Develop and implement comprehensive PSHE curriculum that covers personal development, social issues, health education, and relationships.
Instruction:Â Teach students about personal well-being, mental health, physical health, relationships, sex education, drug awareness, and social issues.
Classroom Management:Â Maintain a supportive and respectful classroom environment that encourages open discussions and promotes positive behavior.
Life Skills:Â Equip students with essential life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and emotional resilience.
Critical Thinking:Â Foster critical thinking and self-reflection on issues related to personal, social, and health education.
Guest Speakers and Workshops:Â Organize guest speakers, workshops, and field trips related to PSHE topics.
Assessment and Evaluation:Â Assess students' understanding through exams, essays, projects, and presentations related to PSHE topics.
Parent and Community Engagement:Â Communicate students' progress to parents and collaborate with community organizations to support students' well-being.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred for higher-level teaching positions.
Certification:Â Valid teaching certification or licensure specific to the region or country of employment.
Experience:Â Previous experience teaching PSHE, health education, or related subjects at various educational levels and settings is preferred.
Knowledge:Â Strong knowledge of personal development, mental health, physical health, relationships, sex education, drug awareness, and social issues.
Communication Skills:Â Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are often an asset.
Technology Skills:Â Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance PSHE instruction.
Interpersonal Skills:Â Ability to work collaboratively and engage with students, parents, and community members on sensitive issues.

Salary Package
Average Salary:Â The average salary for a PSHE Teacher in the UAE is approximately 12,000 AED per month.
Experienced Salary:Â Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 15,000 to 18,000 AED per month.
High Salary:Â Highly experienced PSHE Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 20,000 AED per month.
