Roles and Responsibilities

Curriculum Development: Develop and implement comprehensive PSHE curriculum that covers personal development, social issues, health education, and relationships.
Instruction: Teach students about personal well-being, mental health, physical health, relationships, sex education, drug awareness, and social issues.
Classroom Management: Maintain a supportive and respectful classroom environment that encourages open discussions and promotes positive behavior.
Life Skills: Equip students with essential life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and emotional resilience.
Critical Thinking: Foster critical thinking and self-reflection on issues related to personal, social, and health education.
Guest Speakers and Workshops: Organize guest speakers, workshops, and field trips related to PSHE topics.
Assessment and Evaluation: Assess students' understanding through exams, essays, projects, and presentations related to PSHE topics.
Parent and Community Engagement: Communicate students' progress to parents and collaborate with community organizations to support students' well-being.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred for higher-level teaching positions.
Certification: Valid teaching certification or licensure specific to the region or country of employment.
Experience: Previous experience teaching PSHE, health education, or related subjects at various educational levels and settings is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of personal development, mental health, physical health, relationships, sex education, drug awareness, and social issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are often an asset.
Technology Skills: Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance PSHE instruction.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively and engage with students, parents, and community members on sensitive issues.

Average Salary: The average salary for a PSHE Teacher in the UAE is approximately 12,000 AED per month.
Experienced Salary: Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 15,000 to 18,000 AED per month.
High Salary: Highly experienced PSHE Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 20,000 AED per month.
