Classroom Management:Â Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and active learning.
Parental Communication: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s progress, behavior, and any areas of concern.
Differentiated Instruction:Â Tailor instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
Extracurricular Involvement:Â Participate in and organize school events, clubs, and activities to enhance the overall educational experience of students.
Professional Development:Â Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and teaching strategies.
Team Collaboration:Â Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure a cohesive and effective educational environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. A Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject is often preferred.
Certification:Â Valid teaching certification or licensure, such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Experience:Â Previous experience teaching upper primary students, typically those in grades 4-6, is highly beneficial.
Skills:Â Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
Classroom Management:Â Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.
Assessment Skills:Â Ability to assess and track student progress accurately, providing meaningful and actionable feedback.
Technology Proficiency:Â Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources to enhance classroom learning.
Organizational Skills:Â Excellent organizational and time-management skills to balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Salary Package
Average Salary:Â The average salary for an Upper Primary Teacher in the UAE is approximately 12,000 AED per month.
Experienced Salary:Â Experienced Upper Primary Teachers with 5-10 years of experience can earn between 15,000 to 18,000 AED per month.
High Salary:Â Highly experienced and qualified Upper Primary Teachers with over 10 years of experience can earn upwards of 20,000 AED per month.
